NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education is a key strategic leader, catalyst and partner in the development and delivery of cutting-edge, market-driven continuing and lifelong education programs and services that benefit individuals, organizations and communities throughout North Carolina and beyond.

This annual award is presented to a current or retired employee of NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education who exemplifies the traits that former McKimmon employee, Mary Frances Hester, demonstrated during her 38 years of public service.
