When you select a course or program on the NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education website, you’ll be directed to REPORTER to complete your registration.

To access REPORTER, you’ll sign in based on your affiliation with NC State:

• Red Brick: Current NC State students, faculty and staff
• Brickyard (Gray Brick): Community members, parents, affiliates and other guests

If you are not a current NC State student, faculty member or staff member, you’ll typically use the Brickyard login option to create an account and register for courses and programs.

After you register for a course or program, you’ll receive a registration confirmation and other important course-related communications from REPORTER. To help ensure you receive these messages, add [email protected] to your contacts or safe sender list.

REPORTER for users who are NOT NC State University student/faculty/staff

To register for a course or program, you must have a Brickyard Account. A Brickyard Account is created when your email address is registered in NC State’s REPORTER system.

If you have previously registered for a course or program through NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education, you likely already have a Brickyard Account. If this is your first time registering, you will need to create a new account before enrolling.

Log in to or Create Your Brickyard Account

Brickyard Account Login:
Visit the REPORTER page and select the gray Brickyard Login option.

If you do not already have a Brickyard Account, you will need to create one before registering for a course or program.

• Visit the REPORTER login page.
• Click on the gray Brickyard Login NC State Guest/Affiliates/Parents section.
• Select Create New Account through the Shibboleth Login Service.

• Follow the prompts to create your Brickyard Account using your email address.
• Provide the required information, including your name, email address, and phone number. Completing your profile now can help prevent issues during registration.
• Select Create Account. You’ll see a confirmation page with a link back to the login page.

Once your account has been created, you can use your email address and password to log in to REPORTER and register for NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education courses and programs.

REPORTER for a student, faculty or staff of NC State University with a Unity ID

Log in to using your Unity ID

• Visit the REPORTER login page.
• Click on the red Unity ID Login NC State Students/Faculty/Staff section.
• Now you can register for NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education courses and programs.

You are now ready to register for an NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education course or program

Now that you’ve created your account or logged in to REPORTER, you’re ready to register for a course or program.

Visit the NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education website to browse available courses and programs.
