How to Apply

Submit your application today to join our Fall 2026 cohort! Classes start on Sept. 22.

• Apply by Aug. 31 and save $500 on tuition
• Groups of 3 or more from the same organization can receive a $1,000 discount per person
• Final applications due by Sept. 8

Include the following with your application:

• Completed application form
• A 750-1,000-word narrative that addresses the question: “Why are you pursuing an interest in coaching?”
• Two letters of recommendation from professional colleagues
• An electronic copy of your resume or an online profile that documents a minimum of seven years of professional experience and minimum of a bachelor’s degree

Upon submission of all required items, your application will be reviewed by the instructional team at Heidrick & Struggles; if accepted, you will receive an email notification from NC State’s Office of Professional Development with instructions on how to complete your registration and submit your tuition payment. A deposit of $1,000 is due upon acceptance into the program. Payment plan is available.

Thinking about applying to the Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance (LCOP) program? Join our weekly virtual office hours for support throughout the application process.

These informal sessions provide an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about the program, and stay accountable as you complete your application. Whether you’re just exploring the program or ready to apply, we’re here to help. Hang out and work on your application, or get help with whatever you need.
